'Iam a sophisticated gypsy who loves to dance', was the brief given from Vesna for her bridal gown and, she was completely serious! This could only be a couture gown, incorporating Vesna's Eastern European heritage, along with her love of life and fun filled personality.
The decollete neckline reflected her coquettish nature 'Ohhh...you gave me a bust!' she exclaimed, and full circle skirt in alternating silk georgette and antique gold lace gave light fullness for twirling across the dance floor without dominating Vesna's petite frame.
The red velvet waistcoat, embroidered with gold, was a family heirloom and was incorporated into the design, in such a way so it could be removed for the evening reception.
